# Local usability improvements

These changes are in this local clone and the portfolio source download. They have not been pushed to GitHub.

## Run

./run.sh --quick --url https://example.com --json
```

The launcher creates `.venv` and installs `requirements.txt` on first use. Python 3.12 is the verified runtime. Override the interpreter with `PYTHON_BIN` or use a prepared environment through `PROJECT_PYTHON`.

## Changes

- Fixed hostname extraction so credentials cannot hide the actual destination host.
- Used Python IP parsing for IPv4 and IPv6 instead of permissive regexes.
- Added an isolated launcher and offline regression checks.

## Verification and scope

9 tests passed, including the existing suite, user-info URL deception, IPv6, invalid IPs and an offline quick scan. No internet targets were scanned. Classification is heuristic, not proof of safety.
