# Local usability improvements

These changes are in this local clone and the portfolio source download. They have not been pushed to GitHub.

## Run

```sh
./run.sh --help
.venv/bin/python report.py
# Open the generated reports/ HTML file
```

The launcher creates `.venv` and installs `requirements.txt` on first use. Python 3.12 is the verified runtime. Override the interpreter with `PYTHON_BIN` or use a prepared environment through `PROJECT_PYTHON`.

## Changes

- Added an offline report renderer and a synthetic sample report.
- Escaped HTML reports and constrained target-derived report filenames.
- Added a virtual-environment launcher.

## Verification and scope

HTML injection regression passed. Synthetic input rendered to JSON, HTML and text. No external network scans or NVD requests were performed. Live scans require Nmap and an authorized target.
